FOR WEBSITE OWNERS
Your website may already have a page here. Make it yours.
The websites.new directory lists websites worth looking at. Claim yours for free: prove you control the domain, and the listing becomes an owner-verified page with a fuller write-up, your profiles and, if you choose, your score. Most sites are listed and in the sitemap within 7 to 21 days.

Four steps, about ten minutes
Find your page
Type your domain above. If it is listed, you can open the page as it is today.
Prove control
Sign in with an emailed link, then add a DNS TXT record, upload a file or paste a meta tag. No passwords and no plugin.
Review the draft
We read your public pages and draft the write-up, with each line linked to its source. Edit or remove anything.
Publish
After a staff check of up to three working days, the write-up appears on your page in English, French, German and Japanese. Withdraw it at any time.
Questions owners ask
- Is claiming free?
- Yes. Claiming, the write-up, the assessment and the badge cost nothing, and there is no paid tier for listings.
- Do you need access to my website or accounts?
- No. We read your public pages the way any visitor does. Domain proof is a DNS record, a file or a meta tag that you add yourself.
- Can I have my listing removed instead?
- Yes, with or without claiming. Email hey@websites.new from any address and the listing comes down, usually within one working day.
- Will my score be published without my approval?
- No. A score and its evidence appear only when you approve that dated snapshot. The write-up and the score are separate choices.
- Where does the write-up come from?
- From your own public pages: the homepage and up to four pages such as about, pricing or FAQ. Each fact links to the page it came from, and nothing goes live until you approve it.
- How long until I am listed?
- Most sites are listed and in the sitemap within 7 to 21 days. Staff review takes up to three working days, and approved profiles are released for search indexing in weekly batches.
- What if my website is not listed?
- You can still claim it. Verifying the domain lets you publish an owner-approved profile with your score. You can also suggest the site to the editors with the form on the get listed page, and they add it once it meets the directory criteria.
