Suggest a site

Tell the editors about a website that belongs in the directory. Suggestions are free and need no account.

Submit your website to the websites.new directory for free. Most sites are listed and in the sitemap within 7 to 21 days, from the day a complete submission arrives.

Three ways in.

01 · Claim and verify your site

You own the site. Prove control of the domain with a DNS record, a file or a meta tag, review exactly what goes public and approve it. Fastest route, and you control the page.

02 · Suggest a site

You know a site that deserves a page, yours or someone else's. Tell the editors why, using the form below. They check it against the directory criteria.

03 · Be found by the editorial team

Editors also list well-made public websites on their own, with a factual description written from the homepage. Nothing to submit; you can claim the page afterwards.

How editors choose

Add the badge to your site.

Once your profile is public, embed its badge. It links to your profile and stops showing a score if the listing is withdrawn.

Questions, answered.

01How long does it take to get listed?

Most sites are listed and in the sitemap within 7 to 21 days. Review takes up to three working days; the weekly release and Google's crawl account for the rest.

02Does it cost anything?

No. Claiming, the assessment, the listing and the badge are free.

03Why is there a weekly limit?

We release a limited number of profiles a week so every one gets reviewed and so we can check in Search Console that released pages are being indexed before releasing more.

04Can anyone suggest a site?

Yes. Suggestions need only a web address and a reason. An email is optional and used only to tell you the outcome.
